  • TERRES These photographs come from wandering around the territories I spent my teenage years, in Lac-St-Jean, Quebec. Since this time, those landscapes went through massive modifications due to agriculture's industrialization and I had a hard time trying to find the places left in my memories. Those altered landscapes are the basis of this work created during a research and creation residency at Centre Sagamie, Alma.     2013 Photographie
  • ACP&PM Ltd Anglo Canadian Pulp & Paper Mills Ltd. is a project about man-altered landscapes, especially the paper mills' impact on Quebec's industrialization and urban development.     2013 Photographie
  • 1983 "1983" is a new media installation about the impact of implicit memory on the way we react to various stimuli inside a territory. It is also a reflection on our own perception of time, its slowness and its overlapping.

Through pictures related to his childhood memories, the artist promotes the idea that our current perceptions are actually continuous and juxtaposed perceptions coming from past and present.

This installation, nearer to photography than video, is an image that slowly evolves over a 6-minute loop and the almost imperceptible movement questions the way we perceive time. Also, the image processing creates a impressionistic landscape that brings people to complete the image with their own memories. By using his own software specially created for this piece, the artist puts photography into moving pictures’ territory in an innovative way.

  • GRIFFINTOWN Along the Lachine Canal, Mill Street is home to some of Montreal's most famous industrial buildings : the ADM Flour Mill, with is "Farine Five Roses" neon sign, and the Silo No.5. As this part of the city is gentrifying, their future is quite incertain but they're definitely an important and historical part of Montreal's cityscape.     2013 Photographie
  • (DÉ)RIVES HÉTÉROTOPIES - ESPACES AUTRES is a collective exhibition at Regart, an artist center located in Lévis, Canada. I have three works in this exhibition : an audio walk in public space as well as two video installations.

All three works are a a reflexion about the territory surrounding this artist center, an area which used to be industrial but that is now a commercial and residential area.

These works attempt to create "heterotopias", spaces of otherness, which are neither here or there, spaces that are living on top of other spaces through people's minds.
